Which languages does OCR support?
Russian and English are built in. Latin-based languages work at a basic level. Support for other languages is being added incrementally.
What scan quality is needed?
At least 200 dpi for printed text, 300 dpi for handwriting. The clearer the image and higher the contrast, the more accurate the recognition.
Is formatting preserved?
Basic formatting - headings, paragraphs, simple columns. Complex tables come out worse and the result should be reviewed.
Does it recognize handwriting?
Printed text - reliably. Handwriting - only neat block letters. Cursive is not supported yet.
